Matthew Sandberg, DMD
In 2010, Dr. Sandberg graduated from Oregon Health and Sciences University with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Immediately following graduation, Dr. Sandberg moved from Portland, Oregon, to Wauwatosa. Here, he spent a year as an intern with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Froedtert Hospital and with the Medical College of Wisconsin. His training also included rotations at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and the Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Upon completing his internship, Dr. Sandberg spent three years providing dental and surgical care to underserved individuals in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Dr. Sandberg also provided surgical procedures to homeless veterans at the Zablocki VA Medical Center.
Dr. Sandberg acquired Firefly Family Dentistry in 2015. Along with this new venture, Dr. Sandberg has continued to provide care to our veterans by mentoring oral surgery and CAD/CAM dentistry to the residents at Zablocki Medical Center.
Dr. Sandberg resides in Wauwatosa with his wife, Megan, and dog, Porter. When not caring for his patients, Dr. Sandberg enjoys spending time golfing, traveling, hiking, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with family and friends.
